Payment should be made upon receipt of an invoice at the start of each half term.
As freelance musicians, our work schedules mean some flexibility will be required at various points through the term. If we are unavailable to teach a lesson, we would normally know in good time and shall attempt to reschedule. If that is not possible then the cost of the lesson will be carried forward to the next half term.
Similarly, if students are unavailable for a lesson and give us 24 hours’ notice, we will attempt to reschedule the lesson. If that is not possible then the cost of the lesson will be carried forward to the next half term. Charges will apply if the lesson is cancelled within 24 hours.
If a student is unwell and has not been able to attend school, they should not have a face-to-face music lesson. In these circumstances, if the student is well enough for an online lesson, provision for this will be made.
Half a term’s written notice is required for termination of lessons.
